The Department of Animal Health and Public Veterinary Services is responsible for safeguarding the

husbandry practices and preventive healthcare measures through a range of initiatives,
including educational programs, awareness campaigns, and veterinary services. - Veterinary Public Health: The department ensures public health by preventing zoonotic diseases
and ensuring food safety. It inspects food-producing animals and monitors animal-derived
products. - Regulatory Compliance: The department regulates animal health and veterinary services

licenses and oversees veterinary professionals, clinics, and businesses to ensure compliance
with ethical practices, hygiene standards, and animal welfare requirements.
- Emergency Preparedness and Response: The department prepares and responds to
