About The Department

The Department of Administration and Finance plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the Ministry. It is responsible for overseeing various operations and functions related to finance, general administration, infrastructure management, budgeting, accounting, and supply chain logistics. This department is essential for maintaining the financial health and operational effectiveness of the Ministry.

The Department is structured into six key sections, each focused on specific areas of responsibility. each section is headed by a designated head of that section, who is responsible for guiding the team and ensuring alignment with the Ministry's strategic goals. The Head of the Department supervises the overall functioning of all sections, fostering collaboration and efficiency among them.

THE DEPARTMENT SECTIONS

The Department is structured into six key sections, each focused on specific areas of responsibility.

Finance Section

Responsible for financial planning, management, and reporting. Oversees budget preparation and expenditure tracking. Ensures compliance with financial regulations and policies.

Asset Management Section

Responsible for the management of physical and financial assets. Implements policies for asset acquisition, utilization, and disposal. Tracks inventory and ensures proper valuation of assets

Procurement & Logistics Section

Manages procurement processes for goods and services. Coordinates logistics for the delivery and distribution of resources. Ensures compliance with procurement policies and efficient supply chain management

Administration Section

Manages general administrative functions and office operations. Oversees human resource management, including recruitment and training. Ensures efficient communication and coordination within the Ministry

Information Communication & Technology Section

Oversees the Ministry’s information technology infrastructure. Ensures the implementation and maintenance of software and hardware systems.

Records Management and Archives Section

Responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Implements best practices for data management and archiving. Facilitates easy access to historical documents and records
