The Department of Forestry and Range focuses on the sustainable management of forest and rangeland resources, aiming to balance ecological health, economic benefits, and community needs. This department is responsible for conserving forests and rangelands, promoting biodiversity, and ensuring that these natural resources are utilized sustainably to support livelihoods, protect watersheds, and enhance overall environmental quality.

THE DEPARTMENT SECTIONS
The department of forestry and Range is composed of four sections such as : Forestry, Range, wildlife and biodiversity.
Forest Management Section
Responsible for the planning, monitoring, and management of forest resources, this section ensures that forests are used sustainably while providing economic benefits
Wildlife Conservation Section
Dedicated to the protection and management of wildlife species, including their habitats and populations.
Rangeland Management Section
This section focuses on the sustainable management of grasslands and grazing lands, promoting practices that support both livestock production and wildlife conservation
Biodiversity Conservation Section
Concentrated on the preservation of overall biodiversity within forested and rangeland ecosystems, encompassing both flora and fauna.
